We hereby announce the retirement of Mr Chris Mkhize as Chief Executive of the Foundation as of 01 March, 2017. Mr Mkhize has served as chief executive for seventeen years, steering our Foundation from strength to strength and moulding it into the institution it has become today. As members of the Foundation, we owe a debt of gratitude to Mr Mkhize for his many years of service and dedication.

In the new financial year, one of our own – Chief Operating Officer Mr Simphiwe Mbatha, who has been with the Foundation since 2003 – will be taking over as the Acting Chief Executive Officer. Simphiwe, who is familiar to most, along with the rest of the team will continue the legacy of dedication and hard work; ensuring that together with you, we offer needed support to the many organizations and individuals that depend on us.

We will continue communicating changes and developments in the Foundation as we steer the organization towards the new year’s objectives. Please note that the necessary handover process has been gradually implemented by the exiting CEO therefore current and prospective projects and programmes will continue without a hitch.
